How are you moms? It's been a whirlwind week for all of us. I hope lahat naman kayo ay safe and dry. During these challenging times, marami na naman ang mga alalahanin natin, hindi lang tungkol sa nutrition ng mga kids pero pati narin sa buong pamilya. Kaya nga nitong nakaraang kalamidad, I made sure na I have all the necessities that we would be needing.
When classes were suspended, my kids and I spent the rainy days at home at nagluto ako ng mga masasarap at nourishing na hot meals. Ang una naming niluto I remember, ay sopas filled with different veggies like carrots and cabbage.
The next day naman, it was the good ol' champorado—using our partner, Lactum 6+ Choco of course! During dinner, Yohan asked for ginisang monggo topped with tinapa, while the rest of the family wanted steamed vegetables (broccoli, zucchini, and celery) with dipping sauce. Yohan was even able to drink a tall glass of Lactum 6+ Plain right after! Nagtuloy-tuloy ang in-house food tripping naming pamilya by preparing and eating squash pancakes and corn chowder naman on the third day.
Rainy days may seem a bit of a hassle for most of us, but when given the chance to stay at home—be dry and warm with your family—I really suggest that you make the most out of it. Sobrang dami pa ring pwedeng gawin sa bahay. At mas lalu na ring sobrang daming pwedeng i-try at lutuing nourishing and veggie-friendly meals for your kids!
