I'm sure you've experienced getting worried about your child's nutrition, lalo na that he or she is getting busier in school. Oo, ako rin. As Yohan is advancing in school, parang mas dumarami yata ang demands sa kanya.
What are some of the challenges I've encountered when it comes to giving her proper nourishment? Minsan, she would rather finish her schoolwork first before eating. Malala pa, sometimes, she would skip meals. In school naman, som>etimes, makikipag-trade siya ng food with a classmate.
Nakaka-worry talaga kasi I'm not sure about the quality of the food she is getting (if she is even eating at all).
But, I found a solution! Well, at least, it's a way for me to make sure there's something good and nutritious she is taking in while she's busy studying. Ano 'yun? My tips to make a healthy lunchbox!
First of all, pinipili ko talaga carefully the kinds of food I include in her lunchbox. Marami tayong choices out there, moms. But you have to be careful which ones to pick. Especially if you're a busy working mom, it's easy to fall in the trap of getting what's convenient. Don't. Everyday, our kids deserve the best.
I go for fresh. Fresh fruit slices and chopped veggies. I don't give dried or preserved fruits kasi marami itong sugar. The veggies, 'yung mga easy-to-prepare lang like salads, stir-fried, or boiled para hindi soggy and with lots of nutrients pa rin when Yohan eats it at lunchtime.
I also make sure she likes what she eats. You can ask your kids kung anung favorites nila, then, pack these in a lunchbox they love.
At home, I always make sure Yohan drinks Lactum 6+. Partner ko ang Lactum to help ensure that Yohan is 100% nourished*.
