Having Fun with Nutrition
Cut paper into 2x2in pieces, then write the names of different food types in the middle. On an upper corner, draw a visual representation of their category according to the food pyramid (dairy = cow, fruit = apple, etc.). Draw the visual representation on other pieces of paper, then ask your child to match the designs to complete the categories.
While identification is essential, the proper proportions must be explained too. As this is challenging to communicate, kids should at least get a sense of "not enough," "too much" and "just right."
This can be illustrated by giving a glass of Lactum 3+/6+, saying its relation to other members of the food pyramid, and showing that its presence is necessary for them to have 100% nourishment*.
