Season's Greetings and Eatings
Christmas na, mga mommies!
I know that this season is always so busy for us. Grabe talaga yung paghahanda na ginagawa natin leading up to Christmas itself, kasama ang Eve at Christmas Day. Gift-buying and wrapping, decorating, the list just goes on and on!
Siyempre, the highlight has to be the Noche Buena. Planning pa lang, ilang araw na! And of course, you have to buy all the ingredients and prep them; all in all, it really takes a lot of effort and patience. Not that it isn't worth it, though. I just love how it all comes together in the end, when Lucho and the rest of my family and some friends sit at the dinner table and eat together. Ang sarap talaga ng feeling sa puso 'pag nakikita ko 'yun!
We have our favorites for Noche Buena, although of course there are additional new dishes every year. One thing in common is that I do things to make them nutritious, whether it is substituting or adding ingredients, or even tweaking cooking methods. Siyempre, dapat masarap pa rin, kahit anong pagbabago ang gawin ko, kaya challenge talaga minsan!
One of Lucho's favorite Noche Buena dishes that tastes good and looks fun too is Christmas Tree Sandwiches. He really likes the taste, and it's easy to make, too! I serve this with a glass of Lactum 3+ to help him be 100% nourished*.
Merry Christmas, 100% Panatag Moms!
