Yohan recently celebrated her 8th birthday. Ang bilis talaga ng panahon! Parang kailan lang Yohan was this little adorable girl. She's the same adorable girl pero she's growing up right before my eyes!
Marami kaming hinanda ni Ryan for Yohan's big birthday celebration. I was busy with food preparation while Ryan helped prepare the games and activities for Yohan and her friends. For the food, I made sure na nutritious food ang handa ni Yohan especially since mostly kids ang bisita sa party.
Dahil hindi kumpleto ang birthday party kung walang sweets, I prepared a more nutritious treat for the kids by making Sweet Fruit Party Treats! Puno ng natural sweetness, color and healthy goodness, ang fresh fruits ay isa sa mga healthiest party treats that you can serve! I prepared chocolate dipped strawberries, fresh fruit kebabs drizzled with chocolate, fruit popsicles and fresh fruit jellies.
Aside from sweets, I also prepared finger foods! I made three kinds of finger food sandwiches for Yohan's birthday party: lettuce and cheese, ham and tomato and cheese and ham sandwiches. Para mas appetizing sa mga kids, lalo na dun sa hindi mahilig kumain ng veggies, I made them into pinwheel sandwiches using tortilla bread (Mommies, you can buy this sa supermarket). These are far healthier food choices as compared to sausage rolls or party pies.
At dahil hit ang cupcakes sa mga kids, meron din akong hinanda but with a healthy twist din! I made banana cupcakes and carrot cupcakes! Nilagyan ko rin ng colorful fruit decorations para mas attractive tingnan sa mga kids.
Nakakapagod to have a birthday party for kids but it truly was worth it! Lalo na because the mommy guests we had also commended me for serving such nutritious treats for the kids. For Yohan, I make sure na aside from eating healthy, she drinks Lactum 6+ everyday. Lactum helps me in providing Yohan 100% nourishment with three balanced meals a day.
