I'm sure a lot of moms can relate if I say that healthy eating is not always easy to practice especially when you are a busy career woman. But it was something I knew I had to learn lalo na when Yohan came into the picture. Tip #1: Set Time for Meal Planning
No matter how hectic my schedule gets, I set aside at least 30 minutes once a week to plan my family's meals for the coming week. I regularly do this every Sunday. Find a day that works best for you and stick to it until it becomes a habit.
Tip #2: Stock your pantry, fridge and freezer with healthy food choices
When I do my grocery, I make sure that I buy healthy food for my family. Some of them are healthy ingredients na niluluto ko for the week while some are healthy snacks like fruits, muffins, whole grain bread and yogurt para kapag nagutom sila in between meals o kapag nagmamadali sila for school, they can easily grab these items.
Tip #3: Soups and stews
Another way for my family to eat healthy food on busy days is by making large pots of soup. I consider this as another go-to meal kapag pressed for time na to cook a regular meal.
