It's almost a tradition nila Rye and the kids to go swimming especially kapag weekend. Favorite naming pamilya ang pumunta sa beach, as much as we could. And kids being kids, siyempre ang mga anak namin ay nag-eenjoy lumangoy at magtampisaw. But there's always this challenge every time we go on such trips: ang makapaghanda ako ng snacks that are easy to make, easy to eat. And last but not the least, dapat pasok ito sa proper child nourishment!
Kaya ako, despite my busy schedule, I always make sure that I prepare the food for my family as much as I could - whether for dinner or when we go out para sure ako na hindi maaapektuhan ang health nila at they are receiving the correct child nourishment. For example, para madali kainin by the beach, I make simple homemade burritos. To make it even more nutritious, I use fish instead of meat - favorite yan ni Yohan, kasi mahilig talaga siyang kumain ng seafood. And what I like about burritos is iba-iba ang laman niya - there's rice, there's meat, and there are vegetables na talagang mag-mimeet sa required child nourishment ni Yohan. And best of all, because every burrito is a wrap, madali niyang kainin sa cottage man or while we're sunbathing. Si Yohan pa naman, mahilig din mag-sunbathing. Manang mana sa mommy nya.
Even while eating, okay lang kami na maglulublob ng mga binti namin sa water. Enjoy na enjoy! I'm a dessert person lalo na si Rye, kaya when we go out, sometimes, I would also bring ice popsies that I made. I made 2 batches of it: may plain at meron ding choco. I tried making it with Lactum and Yohan said, "ang sarap!" I even tried a couple of popsies na merong munggo, but I'm still not sure if I like it or not. Pero mukha namang naenjoy ng anak ko, so I guess oks na 'yon! I know naman na Lactum helps me in meeting the proper child nourishment.
Umuwi kaming hindi lamang refreshed because of all the swimming that we did. Pero busog na busog din kami! I'm so happy and panatag na puwede kaming magsama-sama nang ganito. Hope we can do it everyday.
