Hello, mga mommies!
June na! It’s the month to make Daddy feel extra special. Lucho and I always look forward to Father’s Day because it’s the perfect occasion to show our appreciation to the head of our family. Our Mother’s day celebration made me feel so pampered, now it’s our turn to prepare something that Daddy and the kids can surely bond over!
Since having the new baby, as much as possible we like to celebrate at home instead of going out. Not only does this let us avoid the usual traffic, it also allows us to enjoy the closeness and spend intimate quality time with each other. Tawanan, kwentuhan, ang saya lang talaga lagi!
I love cooking for the family! Our family dinner is always the highlight of our celebration, so I make it a point to involve the kids. Lucho loves helping out in the kitchen so easy recipes are the ones he enjoys making. With any recipe, I make sure to choose those that have high nutritional value so my kids can get the vitamins they need to stay strong and active. Hindi lang kasi dapat masarap, dapat may tamang sustansya rin!
Lucho loves playing with Daddy! That’s why this Father’s Day, we plan to go camping. But, with the demands of having a new baby, it’s difficult to actually take the family outdoors. So Juday, paano? Well, it’s as easy as setting up a tent made out of blankets in the living room, or in your kid’s room. Make simple campfire snacks, like smores, share stories, sing songs and have the time of your lives! Activities that allow your children to be creative make for amazing playtime. Driven purely by your kid’s imagination, Daddy’s playfulness, and your 100% alaga, there are so many things you can do to make Father’s Day a special one for Daddy and a happy bonding time for the whole family.
Handa na ba kayo for Father’s Day? Anong mga plano niyo?
